In His “I Am” statements, I believe Jesus gives us an insight into the longings that He meets and the fulfillment he provides in our lives. There are nine statements that I have identified. In each, it is important to appreciate the context of Jesus statements to understand the depth of meaning, but the over-arching theme across these statement is that Jesus gives access to real, abundant living that satisfies our longings and provides true meaning in our lives.
